We are excited to announce a grant award to Sicars from the Southern Partners Fund. SICARS was
awarded a grant disbursement of $40,000. The funds will be used for a number of projects, operational,
and organizational needs including; but not limited to; the installation of an air conditioning and heating
system in the SICARS office. We are truly grateful to Southern Partners Fund for their support of the
Sapelo Island Cultural & Revitalization Society.

people of color grassroots leaders from rural communities across 12 states in the Southeast.
